A few words about us
Let us introduce ourselves
In over eight years from when Aromi Diversi is open, we have served many customers, most of whom were satisfied by the service, the quality and variety of ingredients offered in the dishes of our menu. How we can understand if a customer is satisfied? First of all by his reactions in front of our dishes, how many food he advances on the plate, but these are only clues, another way -certainly more reliable- is his return to eat with us (despite in the island there are a myriad of other restaurants) and then from the reviews on the social networks. Obviously we’d like to be appreciated by the totality of the customer but this it’s impossible, we receive a lot of positive appreciations but luckily just few negative feedbacks and the reasons range from the traffic noise, electric blackout during the dinner time, the wind that disturbs some customers, the presence of mosquitoes, the poorly maintained beach, the presence of pets that gravitate in the area of the restaurant (we are pleased to offer entry to anyone with their pets) and more, in short, with all the respect for the customer who is always right, those are objections so specious as inconsistent: we do not allow ourselves to go into the criticisms of the kitchen, but when the customers point us out negatively for things independent of our will, we leave the judgment of these criticisms to those who consult our pages in social media. Make everyone happy is practically impossible, we are kind, helpful, we offer what we hold in order to make our guests happy.
He don’t cook: he create happiness!
The dishes of our Chef, founder their roots in the Italian tradition and introduce themselves impressive in both flavors and sight. The Chef doesn’t like to make “word games” with the ingredients, but loves to make them protagonists and determinants, coming directly to the target or, better, the palate of his diners. Strength is the territoriality and the memories that bind Robbie to raw materials.
How tell about Aromi Diversi
For good or ill…
Sun, sand, sea and the Aromi Diversi Italian Restaurant in Bang Makham Aromi Diversi opened its doors in July 2013 and very quickly became a popular haunt for those who like to dine far away from the maddening crowds. Friendly hosts Nita and Robbie have created a wonderful space in a truly stunning spot on the north shore of Koh Samui between the Four Seasons hotel and Nathon. Whether you call in for a meal, a snack or a freshly ground cup of coffee, you will not fail to find the atmosphere here relaxing and something on the menu to suit every taste and pleasingly every budget. The menu is bursting with flavors with pasta, pizza, meat, shellfish, salads, sandwiches, aromi focaccia, fruit smoothies and vegetarian dishes as well as grappa, classic aperitifs and cocktails, but be warned, the portions here are enormous, the only small thing you will be served in this little haven is the bill! Great food, phenomenal sunset location!
Just great, this place! Came here for dinner and was impressed every moment of it- both the Italian dinner and views were the highlights. Really enjoyed the pizzas, the tuna tartare, their homemade (and oversized) tiramisu and cheesecake. Wonderful also, spicy variations of Italian dishes can be requested too. Overall, a wonderful spot for weather permitting sunset, nice serene outdoor setting and very nice Italian food. And, very friendly, eccentric owner lady and all the staff- who were very gracious and accommodating! Hands down, this restaurant ticks all for delicious Italian, ambiance and warmth!
Best Italian food on the island!
There are plenty of restaurants on Koh Samui providing you with great food from all over the world, but there are a few that has that little extra. Some manage to display perfection on a plate and you know when you open the menu, take your first bite that this chef loves food as much as I! Chef Robbie at Aromi Diversi has that extra passion and love for what he do and the dinner he prepared together with his very friendly and welcoming staff was just amazing! I had the Scallops for starter and they where just beautiful…just that right amount of mastication. For main course I choose Risotto with Castelmagno PDO Cheese, Walnuts and Truffle from the chef’s recommendations. It was by far the best Risotto I ever tasted. Well worth to mention besides one of the best kitchens on the island is the stunning view and sunset…just breathtaking! Love food? Spoil yourself at Aromi Diversi… highly recommended!
